Who we are

This website is run by Rid Junk Ltd, trading as Commercial Rubbish, 37 Goodey Road, Barking, IG11 9PB, company number 15142447. Contact: info@ridjunk.co.uk.

What we collect and why

When you send a quote request we receive your name, company, phone number, email, postcode, the details of the job and any photos you attach. We use them only to reply to your enquiry, to quote, and to carry out and invoice the work you book. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract.

The form sends your request by email to our office. We don't sell your details or use them for marketing lists.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. For work we carry out, we keep records, including waste transfer notes, for as long as the law requires: at least two years for waste transfer notes, and six years for accounting records.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
