Industrial units collect waste in places nobody looks: the mezzanine, the back of the yard, the corner behind the racking. Whether you are tidying up, reorganising the floor or handing the unit back, we clear it in as few visits as possible.
What we take from industrial units
- pallet racking, shelving and mezzanine storage;
- wooden and plastic pallets, crates and stillages;
- cardboard, shrink wrap, strapping and other packaging;
- old workbenches, lockers, office furniture and canteen fittings;
- scrap metal and small machinery that has been disconnected and drained;
- obsolete stock and general mixed waste.
Machinery removal
We can remove smaller machines and equipment once they have been disconnected from power, gas and air by a qualified engineer, and drained of oils and coolants. Tell us the make, rough size and weight, and where the machine is. Heavy plant that needs lifting gear is a job for a specialist rigging firm.
End-of-lease clearances
Landlords on estates in Barking, Dagenham, Beckton and the Royal Docks usually want units back empty and clean. We clear everything left, including the yard, and sweep through so your dilapidations list is shorter.
Regular collections for busy units
If packaging and pallets build up every week, a scheduled collection keeps the floor clear without a skip taking up yard space. See commercial waste collection.
Questions about factory and warehouse clearance
Can you take pallet racking down?
We remove racking that has been unloaded and is safe to dismantle. Tell us the height and how many bays there are when you ask for a quote, and we will tell you how we will handle it.
Do you take oils, chemicals or drums?
No. Oils, chemicals, liquids and contaminated drums are hazardous or liquid waste and need a specialist contractor. Empty, clean containers are fine.
Can you clear a unit in one day?
Many units can be cleared in a day with enough crew and vans. Send photos of each area and we will tell you how long it will take.
