Most commercial waste collection in London runs on a bin contract: a wheelie bin or a Eurobin on your premises, emptied by a lorry on a fixed round. That suits a busy restaurant. It suits a lot of businesses less well, such as an office that fills a few bags and some boxes each week, a shop with a stockroom of cardboard, or a site that produces waste in bursts.
We collect business waste by van instead. You choose the days, our crew comes in, loads what is there and takes it away. Nothing sits on your pavement between visits, and you get a waste transfer note for the collection.
How scheduled collections work
- Tell us what you produce. Roughly how much, what it is, where it is kept, and any access rules for the building. Photos help.
- Pick a pattern. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly, on the days that suit you. Early starts, evenings and Sundays can be arranged if you don't want a crew in during trading hours.
- We agree a price per visit. Fixed, in writing, based on the usual volume. If a week is much bigger than normal, we tell you before we load it.
- We collect and document it. For repeat collections of the same waste we can issue a season ticket that covers up to twelve months, so you are not filing a new note every week.
Business waste collection without a bin
A bin-free collection makes sense when space is tight or the waste is awkward. Typical customers include:
- offices in shared buildings with no room for commercial bins;
- shops and showrooms with packaging, display stock and broken fittings;
- managing agents clearing bin stores, communal areas and dumped items;
- contractors who need a site cleared every few days rather than a skip on the road.
If you produce a lot of food waste or need daily emptying, a bin contract with a council or a waste company is the better fit, and we will say so. We don't leave bins on site and we don't collect food waste or cooking oil.
What we collect
General mixed commercial waste, cardboard and paper, bulky items, broken furniture, wooden pallets, small electricals and refit waste. Each type is written on the note with its waste code. See the codes we use most on the home page, or read how waste transfer notes work.
Invoicing and account terms
Regular customers can be invoiced to the company with payment terms, so collections don't need to be paid on the day. Tell us who should receive invoices and any purchase order number you need on them.
Questions about commercial waste collection
Do I need to sign a long contract?
No. We agree a collection pattern and a price per visit. You can change the days, pause collections or stop them by letting us know. There are no bins to return and no minimum term.
Can you collect outside business hours?
Yes. Our normal hours are Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm, and we can arrange early mornings, evenings and Sundays for premises where a crew during trading would be a problem.
Will I get a waste transfer note each time?
You will have a valid note for every collection. For the same type of waste collected regularly, a season ticket can cover all the collections for up to a year. Keep it for at least two years.
